If you choose to pre-book your lunch, you will not waste time during the tour and will enjoy a complete traditional meal at one of our hand-picked local restaurants, which will include: One main dish (choice of one): Armenian BBQ (khorovats) — chicken or pork with roasted potatoes; kebab with potatoes; tolma — grape leaves stuffed with spiced beef and herbs; or freshly prepared fish with rice. Two fresh salads: Caesar, Greek, tabbouleh, Olivier, fresh cabbage or others. Traditional sides: assorted Armenian cheeses, platters of fresh seasonal greens, bread and traditional lavash. Drinks and dessert: tea or traditional Eastern coffee, still and sparkling water, seasonal fruit or a local dessert. Please: if you have any food preferences or allergies, write them in the "Food restrictions" field when you place your order. Otherwise we will choose the restaurant's most popular signature dish. A day in Armenia's second city, with a medieval monastery on the way back. Known for its artistic spirit, warm character and distinctive urban traditions, Gyumri preserves the charm of old stone buildings, carved balconies and 19th-century architecture. Among the city's newer landmarks is the only Catholic church in Armenia. The route includes a stop near the Black Fortress, one of Gyumri's best-known monuments, built in 1834 and recognized as a historical and cultural monument of the city. You will also visit the Gyumri Urban Life (Dzitoghtsyan) Museum, where preserved interiors, household items and exhibits introduce the daily life, culture and history of old Gyumri. The final stop is Harichavank Monastery, an ancient monastic complex that adds a spiritual and architectural accent to this journey through Shirak. Nine to ten hours, and the drive each way is straight and easy.

The Prices of Private Tours are presented taking into account that the Tours start from and end in Yerevan. In case of starting the Tour from and/or ending it in a different place, there may be recalculation and change in Price.

During Private Tours there can be additional stops and site visits only in case of real possibility. Should there be significant detours, and should the Tour take longer than the scheduled time, the Company performs recalculation, which may result in the necessity of additional charge.

During Private Tours it is advisable to wear comfortable shoes, preferably closed.

Regardless of the destination, it is preferable to take warm clothes as well, since the climate in the sites may differ from the climate in Yerevan.

When visiting churches, men and women are advised not to wear open clothes. For women, a scarf is desirable.

During certain Private Tours, depending on the destination and location, the transportation means may be unable to reach the destination, and the participants may need to walk some distance and/or climb some stairs. If the participants have difficulties walking or overcoming stairs, then they should verify in advance if destinations include such sites.
